As a master teacher I have received authentic empowerments and have the authority to transmit sacred oral teachings, practices, and awakening energies to those who are ready to receive them to assist them to awaken to their own true nature, regardless of having - or not having a particular religious or group affiliation.

Refocusing where the true power of Ashtanga stems from, the practitioner. A teacher who recognizes the power of the student becomes someone who provides information, maintains the integrity of the Ashtanga Method protocol while also holding the space for students to find their own affirmation, their own knowing, their own Ashtanga practice.

Taking practice with me once a week - the way T. Krishnamacharya taught - allows time for deep integration of effects of the asanas. It allows students to more quickly approach self-mastery by requiring them hold the sacred fire of yoga for themselves and ends the codependent belief system that required practitioners to practice with their teacher 6 days a week. To allow that fire to grow within them, rather than be given away to someone else.

Ashtanga as technology, is the path of raja yoga where the ultimate aim is self-understanding and spiritual adulthood, leading to union with the divine.
